the donning of the hockey equipment. a somewhat daunting task for a six year old. he's learning the drill, however, and enjoying the process for sure. beyond dressing- it's the skating, stopping, passing, getting up, getting along, teamwork, hustling, hand-eye coordination...all of it. valuable skills learned in sports.
two things. he picked #14 like his dad ❤
and the pile of clean laundry on the couch did eventually get folded.
