firsts

February marked the first dentist trip for Cree.  he was a champ.  charmed his way through the visit.  

nothing to it.  a new toothbrush and the treasure box at the end also made it a sweeter deal.

my take away?  

don't leave the room to hang laundry while Cree is in possession of scissors....

and he's up!

 six ventures onto the rink so far, (which is currently more of a shallow pool) and he's gotten the hang of standing, walking, and most recently taking small, independent, short glides that actually resemble skating.  there's a slim chance he might get back on the rink again by the weekend if the weather cooperates...because winters sure aren't like they used to be! (last week he was back on his bike riding down the road wearing just a sweater!)  hoping he has a few more opportunities to hone his skating skills before spring arrives...

so proud to be wearing a helmet and so sure this made him an official hockey player :)

 starting to expand Cree's world a bit with board games...

Pengaloo, Don't Wake Daddy, Old Maid, Dominoes...

he approves.  so far he's still "winning" every round though.
