ahhh....another wonderful vacation of cherished family togetherness that seems to consistently be perfect timing for each of us. wasn't quite the same without Joelle, however, and we sure did miss her lively and fun and crazy spirit....she stayed back for school, and also made the most of this white madness....

the university actually declared the next day a snow day and the students had the bonus of a wide open schedule free of classes, which i'm fairly certain Joelle used to study and do school work for a solid eight hours...could be true, right?!
back to Florida weather, because even the pictures of snow are a bit much these days....
yes we missed her lots, but we made the best of it and still had a great time.
R&R and the gift of memories and laughter and beauty and fun~ just overall sensory awesomeness all around...so very thankful...
no complaints about the pretty nice temperature the beautiful state of Florida welcomed us with!

these two, offered a half pizza by a woman and her daughter who couldn't finish it. pizza poolside. good combination. side note...wish you could see up close how ashy Hudson's face was in this pic, looked like he'd wiped baby powder around his eyes and mouth...such a visible sign of a boy who played hard all day, tennis, basketball, skateboarding and swimming~ in water and sun...we are still heavily moisturizing now a few days back. the child's skin just soaks it up...
