making it look easy

Joelle has taken her level of dedication one notch further.  she's upped her running game.  knocking off a 10 km run and a half marathon recently with impressive speed and somehow managing to still radiate beauty by the end of it.  she does not look to be near death at all.  wow.

Jeff and i remember the days of Sarnia Roadrunners when we dragged her (with all the other kids too) out once a month on Saturday mornings to run the kid's 1 km race, and then moving up to the 3 or 5 kilometers when they were old enough to do it.  by highschool they usually protested so much that we let them sleep in if they preferred. (the lure of the post-run fast food breakfast only went so far).  she's come a long way from then, that's for sure.

inspiring, my dear!

congratulations on doing these really hard things! can't wait to cheer you on with your next fitness adventure!  ❤❤❤

our youngest wrestler

photo credits to Rebecca Dickson, our amazing team photographer.

Cree attended the youth club practices this past season.  he really loves his wrestling "family" and so many have been so kind and encouraging to him~ including the coaches, the parents, and the highschool wrestlers too.  such a positive experience and introduction to such an incredible sport!  can't say enough about what is being built both in Cree and within this community of families who see this sport as so much more than what happens on the mat.  love it!

at the banquet last weekend he was super proud to get his first ever medal!

this was the next morning, because i rarely remember to take actual photos at important events...sigh...
it's problematic actually...but i digress...

here's to many more medals and positive and fun life experiences to come, little man!
we'll always be your cheerleaders too!
